Who is sponsoring the drawing?

Participation period.

The entry period begins on Thursday, September 3, 2026 , when the exhibitor area of the CPA 2026 Convention opens, and ends on Saturday, September 5, 2026 , when the selection of winners begins at the Expert Tax booth.

Who can participate.

To participate and be eligible to receive a prize, a person must meet all of the following requirements:

1. Be 18 years of age or older at the time of participation.
2. Be a bona fide resident of Puerto Rico.
3. Have attended the CPA 2026 Convention in person for at least one day.
4. Be affiliated with the accounting industry, as defined below: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), independent tax preparer, employee or partner of an accounting firm, accounting student, or accounting professor.

Employees of CEGsoft, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as their immediate family members or household members, are not eligible.

CEGsoft reserves the right to request reasonable proof of compliance with these requirements before awarding any prize. Any entry that does not meet the requirements will be disqualified, even if it has already been selected as a winner.

Your NEXT PASS tracks your participation.

1. Visit the Expert Tax booth during the 2026 CPA Convention.
2. Receive a NEXT PASS with a unique number.
3. Complete the Discover Quiz and the registration form, filling in all required fields.
4. Participate in the golf activity at the booth (optional).
5. Submit the corresponding section of the NEXT PASS to a member of the Expert Tax team, who will verify your entry. Submitting that section is what registers your entry in the drawing.

The golf activity is optional and does not grant additional entries or improve your chances of winning.

One (1) entry per person. Duplicate, incomplete, or false entries will be disqualified. In the event of duplicate entries, only the first entry received will be accepted.

Three awards. Three winners.

The hotel certificate includes accommodations for 3 days / 2 nights, taxes included, for two (2) adults and up to two (2) children, and up to $50 for food and beverages.

Does not include additional charges, service charges, tips, or any other expenses. The certificate is subject to the establishment’s terms, conditions, availability, and reservation policy, as detailed on the certificate itself.

It expires on August 19, 2027 and will not be extended.

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash, nor can they be exchanged for another prize. Amazon gift cards are subject to Amazon’s terms and conditions.

No person may receive more than one prize. Any tax liability arising from the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.

Random selection at the booth.

The selection process will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026 in the afternoon, before the event closes, at the Expert Tax booth.

Winners will be selected at random from all valid NEXT PASS entries received and verified. The order of the drawing will be: first prize (hotel), second prize ($100), third prize ($50).

If a drawn entry corresponds to an ineligible, incomplete, or duplicate entry, it will be discarded, and another entry will be drawn for that same prize. If it corresponds to a person who has already been declared a winner, it will be discarded, and another entry will be drawn.

What happens after the selection process?

Winners will be contacted using the information provided on the registration form and will have fifteen (15) calendar days from the first notification to respond and arrange for the delivery of the prize.

If a winner does not respond within that time frame, does not meet the eligibility requirements, or declines the prize, CEGsoft may select an alternate winner or declare the prize void, at its discretion.

To claim the prize, the winner must provide proof of identity: a photo ID, their NEXT PASS, or another official document that verifies that they are the selected individual.

The video announcing the winners will be posted by CEGsoft on Sunday, September 6, 2026 on Expert Tax's digital channels, including the announcement of the winners' names.

By participating, the individual consents to having their name and NEXT PASS number disclosed publicly in said advertisement and in related materials, without compensation.

Use of the Information Collected.

The information collected will be used to administer this giveaway and for communication and marketing purposes by Expert Tax, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at experttax.com/terms-and-conditions#Privacy .

Terms and Conditions for the Drawing.

By participating, the person agrees to these Official Rules in their entirety and to the decisions of CEGsoft, which shall be final and binding in all matters related to this sweepstakes.

CEGsoft reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the drawing if circumstances beyond its control prevent it from proceeding, and will provide notice on experttax.com .

CEGsoft will not be liable for entries that are lost, incomplete, late, or not received due to technical failures, nor for prizes that are lost or damaged after delivery.

Relations with Third Parties.

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform, Amazon, or Rincón of the Seas, nor is it affiliated with them.

Expert Tax acquired the prizes through a standard commercial purchase and is not liable for any inconveniences, limitations, or breaches attributable to third parties in connection with the use or enjoyment of the prizes.

Any claims must be directed to the issuer or the relevant provider, in accordance with their own terms and conditions.
